Please write a short paragraph ( about 5 sentences) about a really good movie, book or TV program you have seen or read recently; or, if you prefer, your favorite kind of music. ReplyDeletetoday i want introduce my favorite book is called in english “The Eyes of Siberian dogs”.I read it book when i was in highschool, I can't forget it in my life. I remember that I feel so interesting when I started reading the first pages of the book. the book is about a story that is told by a guy who try to remember his brother, who was called ezequiel and his died with AIDS but, nobody in his family accept the real situation.
i love it because my family is really traditional, it sometimes can be good or it can be the worst problem in our family. In the story ezequiel fight by his dreams and their parents don't was agree with his decisions. i really believe that the terrible ending in his life was for the less communication with his parent. sometimes I feel that our parent don't like that we make our mistake, I think that they forget that we have to create our own destiny and on the way we have to make many mistake and learn about but, if we can talk we their with honesty perhaps, our decision can be right and we really appreciate their opinion.I feel so interesting every time that i remember it book.

DeleteIt sounds like a very good book. Fight for his dream. But I also think talking is the most important part of the relationship with parents. I believe they will understand eventually.

DeleteThere is a book called ‘’ color your life ‘’ is the best-selling book. It’s my favorite one.
ReplyDeleteColor your life ‘’Non-fiction/self-help’’ , the author’s name Khaled M,eef, The book was published in 2011, Number of Pages 217. The book is a multi-color page. Refers to the different meanings of life. The book from beginning to end is a small and brief message about how can make a positive meaning of life. Each message is beside the colors and images to motivate reading and continue. The book has message for optimism, ambition, love, forgiveness reassuring life beautiful quiet.
#This sentence from the book it is closest to my heart:-
"It is the greatest challenge that kind of laugh and shed tears from your eyes."

ReplyDeleteLast year, my friend recommended me to watch a movie named Sunny. It is a South Korean film that makes me cry in the midnight. It is talking about girls' friendship and how cruel the reality is. A few weeks ago, my other friend told me that she had watched that movie, so I went to watch that movie again. It still touched me.
ReplyDeleteThere have 7 girls in this movie. The story begins with 20 years after high school life, Na-mi went to the hospital to see her mother, then she met her high school friend named Chun-hwa. Chin-Hwa get worse sick, so they decided to find out other 5 girls. The whole movie Interspersed realistic timeline and memory timeline. I love all the 7 girls. They used video camera to record what do they want to do in the future: Na-mi said, I wanted to become a painter. The leader wants to blend into the world of men, and create a world of their own. Language teacher's daughter said, "I want to collect the whole handsome guy." A Little fat girl named Rose obsessed with plastic surgery, eyelid open. Daughter of a manage of beauty salon wants to become Miss Korea. A girl who is the only daughter of her parent wants to be a writer. Cool and beautiful school queen said nothing, just put a model pose like a real famous model. 20 years passing by, I don't know what do they feel when they saw it again. Actually, this film doesn't have a happy ending (for me). Well, life is like this, not lucky like a miracle. Maybe this movie won't touch somebody's heart, but it do make me feel moved. Because I miss my high school friend very much.
I have heard this movie before. But I am afraid to watch this kind of touching movie, I can't help crying. But it sounds a very good movie. Maybe I can watch it first, then watch a funny movie after it. It'll be better. Thank you for sharing.
DeleteI would like to share my favorite series "Gilmore Girl". This series ended years ago but since I came to United States, I get the oportunity to watched it again from season one to seven. This series is about a mother and a daughter who live in a small town called Stars Hollows. They are like sisters, because they spend the whole the time together and do every together. You could see the love of a mother for her daughter and how devoted it could be. Also, you can learn life lessons. I didn't finish to watch this series but I will do before come back home.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite movie is "Forrest Gump". I think almost people have watched this movie. This movie is talk about Forrest Gump's life. Forrest Gump was born in a closed small town in South Alabama after World War II. He was live in a single parent family. He also had congenital mental retardation, and his IQ was only 75. But his mother didn't give up him. she always encouraged him to improve himself. Therefore, Forrest Gump went to ordinary school like other children, and met his best friend and lover Jenny. Because mother and Jenny's care, Forrest became football star, Vietnam War hero , table tennis diplomacy envoy , and billionaire. At the end, Jenny dead of illness. But they had a son, and Gump raised their son by himself.
ReplyDeleteI like this movie because this movie made me cry. I have saw it for 4 times, and I felt different things each time. It teach me never look down yourself or others. Everyone can be successful if they set in a right situation. For parents, encourage children is always more effective than punishment them. It makes me remember when I was a child, I am not the best in my class. Sometimes I even can't finish my homework by myself. My father said I was daft. It makes me very upset. But my mother always encouraged me. She always praised me and taught me by caretaker speech. It made me easy to understand, and helped me study new things quickly.
I also like the theme song and some sentences in this movie. Such as Life was like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get;If you are ever in trouble, don't try to be brave, just run, just run away.

ReplyDeleteI'd like to share a movie which I watched recently, snd I love this movie very much. The movie's name is 'Furious 7'. It's a series movie, and the 'Furious 7' is the newest one. It just came out this April. It's a very popular movies, all the tickets were sold out on the first day when it released. The movie is talking about car racing, it's an action movie.If you like cars, speeds and actions, I highly recommend you to watch these series. I started to watch these series about 10 years ago. So I have many memories about it.
Unfortunately, one of the main characters, Paul Walker, was died in an car accident last year. He was only 40 when he was died. It was a very sadness news to all his families, friends and fans. Although, Paul Walker only finished acting about half part of the "Furious 7'. But the most amazing thing is the director used Walker's three brothers as stand-ins and computer-generated Walker's face and sound to make him alive again in the "Furious 7". In addition, it is very touching at the end of the movie. I was cried. I think these series are one of the classic movies you would like to watch.

DeleteI like watching America TV series. It is very interesting and a good way to learn English. Do you know a TV series called Sex and the City. The story is also happened in New York. It's my favourite TV series. Also it's one of the reasons why I would like to come here.

ReplyDeleteI would like to recommend my favorite my TV series----"Agents of S.H.I.L.D."The series based in marvel comic. The series director is same with "The Avenger". But this series don’t talk about superhero, it is talk about human. The series revolves around the Coulson who takes a team agents and flight with an evil organization—Hydra. It has been played on every Tuesday. However, now it has update 17 sets so it will finish soon. It is very interesting and I don’t want it to finish. The tv series is very interesting and exciting! If you like to watch marvel comic, I think you will like to watch it.
DeleteI didn't realize that Mad Men was still on TV. I saw some of the series a few years ago. Yes, I believe it is an accurate portrayal of the sexism and racism that existed in the 60s.

ReplyDeleteDear Classmates, I hope that you are fine. I would like to share my experience regarding my favourite TV program which is ‘Hard talk’. This program is broadcasted in BBC channel by Stephen Sackur. I really like this TV program for several reasons. It is one of the best ways to learn more complex English vocabularies, especially from the British accent perspective. Secondly, this TV program more often hosts public figures of the international society. This gives you a chance to know more about international political events in a critical examination. I really, enjoy watching it and recommend you to watch it……..

Now it is my turn. I was going to talk about a movie, but changed my mind. Instead I want to tell you about a TV program that I am currently addicted to, called "New York Real Estate." It is on Bravo - channel 18 on my TV. It is a reality show in that the 3 realtors who star in it sell real estate in real life. They are highly competitive - especially with each other - and are sometimes ruthless. If you can watch it, it will be good for your English, especially for practicing high numbers ( in the millions) and for learning about a small segment of NYC culture. If you see it, let me know!
